The first line in the topic says "Show us your Canadian Railroads..." These are Northern Alberta Railways GP9s #201 and #205. Locomotives of a Canadian railway... They just happened to be sitting on a turntable.
He was asking if the turntables were scratch built...so yes, it's a bit Off Topic from the topic of Canadian railroad. He's just asking about the turntables...
This. Boxcab was asking of the turntable was scratch-built, and apologizing for the off-topic question. He was not accusing you of being off topic. Nice thread. While I live in Canada I model the US, so I only have one Canadian loco:
Grey and Grandure: (the first one), Grey and Grandure IV: (CP Loco at dawn has the green for a long with a sweet train) Grey and Grandure V: Grandure Yard with CP and GN unit trains), (Sorta sorry aboutt the GN presence but they were my favorite road before I had access to so much CP) FP45s: (Fantasy units painted for me) I look forward to running long unit trains of Canadian grain and coal.
I model NS but I built a pair of CN units for a little color in my consists. I'm thinking about doing a CP AC4400Cw at some point and i have a C40-8M kit on order.
My Atlas TH&B Boxcar. Two notes: One, the painfully obvious lesson that I need to invest in a lens for my DSLR camera capable of higher quality close-up focus. Two, is Atlas Code 80 rail next to HO Scale ME Code 70 rail..... I'm pretty sure I'll be using Code 55 if at all possible.
