Back through the 1970's Minitrix produced a car they called a "70t container" car, which was an open framed enclosed girder structure on a flatcar. Was this car prototypical or a fabricated design by Minitrix at the time. I have found no photographs of the 'real' thing, and no other manufacturer has produced one like it. It appeared in their (Minitrix) catalogues in the earlier 1970's, and never came with a 'load', although I'm not sure how you could get a load into or out of it anyway??

Many thanks for this and the attached photo. That now clears my long standing question of where to include these in my train consists and the type of industry they may have served.
