    Yes, you could easily have this on your layout. All it takes are some German engineers and a million Euros to build and have maintained. If you like aircraft more than trains then why not just sell the trains and get into r/c planes? It is surely healthier to be outside flying in the sunshine rather than in a dark basement cleaning track and looking for short circuits. Or combine r/c and trains and build in the back yard. I know many who are doing that. Heck, just have fun and use some imagination, those airplanes can fly anywhere you want! LOL and don't take anything too seriously.

    I've often thought of putting just the edge of an airport on the Portsmouth Branch, especially when it is put back together in either Ohio or Alabama. Just the end of a runway, for example, with one plane ready to roll and a few planes in line on the taxi way. Earlier I considered part of a terminal, but that was too large.
