kato has done a number of eastern roads . like the ns c30-7,dash 9. then the whining and bashing starts wrong head light placement and so forth. but it is just fine for fvm to do the same thing and everyone is drueling about how great the engines are. please give me a break. I don't care for fvm well not buy from them so if you need to bash kato i will talk about fvm
Can we get the FVM GP60's that I ordered in 2010...before we announce anymore new stuff? Or have those been cancelled? I wouldn't be placing anybody on a pedestal right now. I have always preferred KATO but they have some strange ways...like surprise releases without any advanced warning, planning -nothing. I hope they wake up.
Ignorance to? Both brands have their plusses and minuses. One thing I wish all mfgers did was what FVM does with the GEVOs, no molded on grab irons! The small dimples as guides for drilling are near invisible compared to the ugly molded on grabs all other N mfgers go with (yes that includes your fabled Kato). I do prefer Kato myself but I also have FVMs models and you know what? I can't tell a difference between them running wise and in all honestly I prefer the look of FVM and what they include in the painting (hey Mr Kato where's the warning stickers?). If I'm ignorant then ignorance is bliss.

Good thing I wasn't trying to be eh? As far as I'm concerned anyway FVM could either be doing the SD70ACe/M-2 or SD40-2 (how many had dual headlights though?). Either way it'll be good for the scale as we really need a current SD40-2 and I'd love to get the new late 2011 and 2012 build ACes.
