I haven't been able to get it on my computer either. I thought I broke something. Oh well, with the time I saved by not reading and posting there, I assembled 3 Intermountain 40' boxcars.

    Hmm... I saved someone's
    life, wrote a magazine
    article, and painted my
    treehouse...

I haven't been able to get on all day. I pretty much figured they kicked me off the forum. That might make Pete happy.

I'ma not sure what is going on. IMSMC... I thought there was mention of a work window starting late Saturday night, to do some upgrades, ending Sunday a.m. However, with my new medical disease CSR as diagnosed by Doc. MtnTrainman, I can't remember much ...LOL.

We shall see what happens next.

Uh Oh me thinks I just tattled on myself.

I'm getting a 403 error...there is either no files on the server or not a valid default file.

Either they took the forum down, changed DNS or was hacked.

All it is is that they had a 101 posts plus this week and their server had a fit...

LOL... hopefully they will be back up soon...

Yea...they kicked me off awhile ago for something petty... but that's "Water under the bridge". I still go there now and then and occasionally find something of interest to read. I hold no animosity against anyone and wish them nothing but the best...and hope they get back online soon.

They are having some server issues. It is not hosted on a "paid" hosting service. Tom will have it going again, just have to give him time to get everything set straight.

I was banned for life. My sin? Using the term "Atlas Forumphobia" to describe some of the reactions of the "core group" to the now defunct Atlas Forum. Never did understand it as some of the core members posted on the Atlas Forum themselves. Also, I had some vigorous debates with members of the "core group" on various topics. That may have greased the slide for my ultimate fate. So suffice it to say, on Railwire, it does not pay to be controversial or to contradict the "core group".

I came over here to check on news re: The Railwire and reactivated my account here since Atlas closed. I've always found that two forums (fora?) was right for me. Three or more takes too much time but with two there's usually something interesting going on. Your mileage may vary.

I wish to thank the Trainboard for being magnanimous in allowing this thread exist as a public notice to fellow modelers .
