What a cool idea! I see those trains all the time and never thought about doing one. (drr) I've got a sounder set and love it. Now you make me want to do a Cascade set to go with it. Looking forward to seeing the finished project. Brian
Have long wanted something like that for my Talgo cars. Anticipating your results with interest, especially the "bat wings" cars.
Thank you I am curently remaking the wings. Didn't like the way the first two looked, and now trying resin casting for uniformatity.
I am curently working on 4 sets. Anyone out there make decals. Im going to run low soon and my guy that made my first few sets has now passed.
Seeing this makes me miss washington when BNSF had my gang working up there from Everett to the canadian border. I miss is greatly and watching these zip by while i worked.
Up dated photo's Well I got some of the engines finished. 3 more F40's and 4 more F59's. Pluss not to mention the wing tail cars. I did a custom paint job for Talgo Seattle so they were kind enough to provide me with the Du-Pont paint codes so I have an exact match and not have to mix paint. After having the decals made in N & HO I am able to finish all five Amtrak Cascades trains. With extras so I can work on more sets down the road. I had an extra SD70Mac and got creative as you can see. I will get pics of the tail cars up soon. Hope you enjoy...... Paul Pellegrino PnP Trains www.pnptrains.com
