. okay Karl now that's just unreal what are the odds that we would catch sister units both still in the white face and green and about 1700 miles apart on the same day nice catch

Neat trick. I'll have to remember, if I get lucky enough to catch something green in my area.

What way was this train heading? Might be able to catch it in Spokane soon.

What are the odds that we both had our cameras with us. Usually I only see units like this when the camera is sitting at home!

Lucky fellow. Intuition? Probably not many railfans have had their other half hit that situation just right.

I'll second that, on both accounts. I'm glad I shot what I did, when I did. Even with archaic 2 and 3MP digitals....:)

Ah, rule one followed. Camera in the Jeep. Each year I take the trip to Galesburg and each year I see less and less of the Cascade green. Here is a shot I took on one of my favorite railfan haunts, Oregon IL, Good Friday 2006.

Lead is an SD40-2, followed by a SD60M. The C&I was a great haunt for SD40-2's.

I found another one, in Omaha again (I'm glad I checked the yard again before I left). The first GP50 I found was BNSF 3121, this morning I found BNSF GP50 3111. Lightning strikes again! I'm going to have to get back to the extended cab GP50.

The 3120 was recently holding down the Spud Local job out of Wenatchee. It left last week.
