Has anyone tried to remove the shell from this type engine? I want to add weight. I can't see any screws or tabs at all. BTW, very good running engine. Thanks for the help.
don't know this is accurate or not to the bachmann but swivel trucks one way or another and look for six screws. mike
Good idea. I checked but found no screws. I removed the couplers and pulled slowly and steadily and the shell came right off. Silly me. No wonder there were no instructions as it was pretty simple. I was just scared to pull. But...I don't see much room for weight. Maybe in the cab if I close the windows and add it there. Thanks again for the help.
