Here´s a little report about the bi annual Z Scale meeting in Altenbeken last weekend. It was the 4th of ist kind, the 2nd in Altenbeken and the first under the flag of the Z-Freunde International.
First, many thanks to Heribert and his team for the fantastic organisation, especially as it was all done in their sparetime.
The show had a professional character without loosing ist familiar athmosphere. It drew a lot of attention, even Märklin TV showed up and spent the Saturday filming the layouts.
The visitors cam from all over Europe, and of course, Mr. Dave, Larry Donsbach and Jeff Merrill (with his wife Mickie) showed up as always. It was great to see you again!
    Here are some impressions:

Layout of the Stammtisch Bloomberg with a motive of the Altenbeken area. You really have to look close to see it´s done with Micro Track.

A fantastic layout shows a German coast town at the beginning of the 19[SUP]th[/SUP] century.
    More to follow…

That is some great model railroading!

Can you tell me anything about the narrow gauge line going under the bridge in the first photo?

Oh...I am excited to see your photos - I love the 19th century layout. It's most inspiring.
I only wish you move Altenbeken closer to Sweden...

This should be the Saller Track in Zf (600mm). I´m not sure, if it´s still available.

Edit. I quoted the wrong contribution. It was for Randy Smidt

Oh and just remember, the Saller track looks nice but it is one piece metal, made for static display. Still the track and cars are works of art.
