I don't find what you folks are sayiny about GATS true, at least not around my neck of the woods. Most of the particapants are priced right and not a once or twice a year dealer. I see Coryville Station at every GATS and local regular show I attend. They have the $19.99 GP38-2's, GP18's and F40PH's all the time. I'm sorry, I'm not buying into your stories. [IMG] GATS has done a great job with the shows they have put on here. I have no complaints with them at all. [IMG]

I saw plenty of people that had reasonable deals, but those Life like engines were all priced wrong at every dealer.

Plus, the expense of Parking put me off to begin with.

Well, it's obvious there are several different opinions about GATS, and they're based on what we're experiencing. The first three GATS shows in Kansas City in the 1980s were awesome experiences for me, but the GATS in Dallas was a total wash-few local vendors, very few local clubs, and prices well out of my range. I still get better bargains, see more club layouts, and chat with more serious modelers at the Ft. Worth show in November and the Plano show in January. Plus, free parking at both venues does help ;)

If you folks who go to GATS are happy with them, that's OK with me. You're obviously satisfied, and I'm not going to try to change your mind. [IMG]
