I contacted him and said I would post for him here and Yahoo Z scale. I'll need some in a few months and gave him a heads up on quantity. Will post his response. . [/h]
For guys that have big layout or modules. Ed has the #8 and #10 turnouts from him. They sure look good on crossovers.
John says he posts a few on ebay to keep his name out there (like I found him ). He usualy only posts 2 or so of each. This week, he's posting #8's for the first time. He uses Micro Engineering rail so it will match MTL flex and sectional track. The rail head will be thinner than märklin/Peco rail. If you contact him direct, he sells them 'cheaper' than the e-bay price and, offers 'quantity' discounts. You can reach him at: scot t w 90 (at) yahoooo .com [you decode it, to keep the scammers off]. .
Jeff, Good on John for making fast-tracks turnouts for guys that can't solder well, but just to keep things honest, please realize there is about $5-7 dollars in materials that go into these, with the fast-tracks "quick-stick" tie piece for finishing being the most expensive part. So build them yourself if you have the skill, and save enough money to cover the cost of the under-deck switch machine which you'll still need to buy to control these. Tony B... AKA Zmon...
Tony, It is good to see you poke your head up for some Z air. You are missed, (and your building talents too)
Anyway I sent that guy a message, asking him how much he would charge for a little bit more than 40 turnouts..... The order I initially wanted to complete with Peter Wright. If the price matches, that's OK for me.:mwink: Dom
