    I wonder if you can control servos and provide routing with a DPDT switch on the fascia wiring one side to the servo and one to the frog. I realize you can't control it remotely nor have dcc controlled ladders, but I don't think every switch needs remote control and might be simpler than a fully mechanical setup. I've heard the best spot for servos is that internet auction site, if you think tortoises are expensive at hobby shops wait till you see servos...granted we only need analog ones.

    Using the Tam Valley system, you can have DCC-controlled ladders, if I understand what you are suggesting. One DCC command can throw any number of turnouts to create a route to a particular yard track and switch the frogs at the same time. I mentioned this in an earlier post.

    Or perhaps are you talking about something different.

    As I also mentioned a few posts back, SG90 servos at "that auction site" are around $3 each which includes shipping. These servos do the job well on my layout.
