Great modeling Dave. I had built a similar design using the Mohawk Valley trackplan but I really like how you incorporated your extension into the new yard. Great stuff! I'm starting on a new layout based on using two interior doors in a T configuration for my IC Evansville District and definitely would not have tried it were it not for seeing your successes on the Juniata Division. Keep up the good work! Chad
Had back surgery in October last year but am doing much better, thanks! I've been at it again, but this time with Conrail:
Really enjoyed the new videos! Beautiful work Dave. What are you using for your telephone poles wire?
I use charcoal gray... I tried the copper green color but it was too bright. It would, however, be just the right color for dummy PRR catenary, which turned green after oxidation.
Excellent.....I was going to go with the green after reading that the charcoal 'disappears' in front of certain backgrounds, but it looks great in the videos and my first choice was going to be that one anyway.
