NS tends to keep their stuff pretty clean, so some mild sill dust and truck weathering, and of course- dullcote, were all this one got:
I went a little heavy on mine, at the time I modeled this unit is was pretty filthy but as of now it has been cleaned up a little.
It looks good! It seems as though a lot of the NS SD70's that run to Chicago, or are leant to Western roads look just like that, well done!
Thanks. I just so happen to live very close to the NS Chicago Mainline in Goshen, IN. For whatever reason the units do get dirtier here, especially this time of the year.
GREAT weathering shots. It's amazing the difference a little weathering will make when compatred to the original. The handrail and step edge painting is super nice also. Jamie
