Hello Everyone, I'm new to the forums, typical story, lurked for a while then decided to join. Anyhow, I tried searching the forums but can't seem to find anything about Rapido's announcement to work with Prairie Shadows to build and n scale Point Saint Charles Caboose? Did anyone else notice this? I have two on order... it sounds pretty sweet! I would post a link but I'm not too sure if I'm aloud. Google Prairie Shadows and take a look! If this is not news, I am sorry. Regards, John
Hi John, It's been mentioned on a few forums, can't remember if it was on Trainboard or not. Luckily, I'm friends with the owner of PS and have seen the pre-production sample, just a few tweaks and it will be an awesome model. He has some other interesting special runs in the works also. Take a look at his website. JSL
I just found it funny that I stumbled across it the other day... cause I've never heard anything about it, and I am on these and other boards allot! like I said before I can hardly wait, the description sounds awesome! John
I have only seen the corresponding exclusive HO scale project. That is also mentioned on the Rapido website. But they do not say anything about a N scale project there.
As I said above, the model is on schedule as much as a special run can be. The first pre-production models needed a few tweaks to a few things. I will ask Jeff from Prairie Shadows for an update on the timeline for its release. JSL
Here's a link to the site of Rapido Trains Inc. http://www.rapidotrains.com/pscvan_n.html I have ordered one for me and for a friend of my and I hope it's going to get close in detail to the H0 scale version. I have 3 dayniters from rapido and the look very good.
Hey guys, I dropped a note that the N PSC van wasn't linked on Rapido's Facebook Page. Turns out, they were alreay working on the site anyway, so that little problem is now corrected. It's under N scale>>Freight Cars>>Point St Charles.
I spioke with a Toronto Train shop owner last weekend and he expects to be announcing them and a firm delievry date in the next few weeks. Project is, indeed, "ON"................
