Is it possible to have different door types on the same side of a double door boxcar? Would they latch? I saw Scott Sanders great Superior door scratchbuild on WNFF and wondered if the doors could be mixed.
Flash - It's certainly possible and wasn't all that un-common. I have seen pictures of both NP and GN 40' Dbl Door Boxcars with a combination of the doors you mention.
Flash, First, thank you for your extremely kind comments, I would never have attempted modeling that superior door without the help of my buddy Dave, but to answer your question, yes the doors can be mixed as I have several pictures of double door cars with mixed doors.
