Rokuhan was showing some of their new items at the show.
    1) R245 track 30 degree
    2) R270 track 30 degree
    3) R70 track 45 degree
    4) Flex track 330mm
    5) additional turn out switch
    6) small controller with constant lighting and using 6 x AA batteries or wall transformer

Best item was Flex track which everyone wanted.
plus the big yard put together by the Baz Boyz and ZoCal using Rokuhan track Don Fedjur and Jeff Merrill heading up this effort.

    cheers Garth

    Garth,
You forgot the 90 degree crossing. I agree that the best item is the flex track...a very clever design.

in one of Stony's picutures I think I saw a pair of L55, the new smaller turnouts also on the table at Intermountain.

    Garth,
Right you are. The L55 turnout was there as the shortest passing track we'll probably ever see. The curved turnout was also there and attracting interest. Sorry I missed that...I'm still drooling for the flextrack.

Is ROKUHAN the only manufacturer announcing new and real (as in actually going to hit the market BEFORE the next NTS) products at NTS? What about Micro-Trains?

I'm not understanding the delay with InterMountain's cylindrical hoppers. It seems no progress has been made towards a release date.

    Alex,
While I'm sure there will be folks that will be posting NTS info that is more complete than I have, I didn't hear any big announcements, which is perhaps why there was so much interest in Rokuhan. MTL was showing the first item of what looked like a 40' refrigerated box car with an expected release of "Fall". Regarding the return of their roadroad track and GPs or the E-units, the answer I got was "we hope to know soon."
AZL was showing the GP30 and saying they expect them "soon." They were showing their Mikado v2, but saying there is a lot of work before its ready.
As for InterMountains cylindrical hoppers, they were being shown, but I wasn't paying much attention to the availablity.
Hope this helps until there are more comprehensive posts on NTS.

AZL also had their GP30s running and looked very good. Apparently these will be at the dealers in a couple of weeks. They also announced F3 A and B units, which is fantastic. Other than that Rokuhan track was the only other big announcements. There really wasn't any big N scale announcement either. I think manufacturers are moving away from big announcements at train shows...
