hey guys, i need a little help wiring my ion generator up for a static grass applicator.
all online tutorials show generators with 3 wire leads, this one i have has 4 (one black thin wire, one red thin wire, one thick red wire with brush head, one thick green wire).

i was wondering if i just solder the green and black battery wire together as per this PDF and that would take care of my question making it 3 leads? that easy?

I built mine for about $6.00 from the electronic flyswatter in the u tube video and it works like a charm, the green wire your concerned about is the earth ground wire if your properly insulated from the ion generator you really don't need it. Jim.
