Any one interested in trading engines with me for my new lay out.

    What I have to trade
Weathered BN green black SD-40-2 Used once
Weathered Union pacific SD-40-2 Very nice motor! runs excellent! Also have brand new in box never ran gp-9 non weathered.
BNSF GP-35 Really strong flowing motor as well, weathered beauty! Also have a custom BNSF GP-9 Shell if you want that instead.

    want list
Any PRR, Conrail GP-35, Baltimore and ohio, Chessie system/ chessie ohio, Western Pacific F7 and dummy B unit/ passenger cars, ALL CSX and NS

Want all these engines for my new lay out, I'm doing Dave Volmers Juanita division in Z, but switching up a few things, adding my own Yard eventually as a module as well as Maryland water front/ docs for crab and sea trade.

If you guys know of any other engines that run along the, Pen, west Virginia, maryland line please inform! : ) want this lay out to be very realalistic!!

Does Penn Central run in Juanita division at all? I'm targeting 1987-present. So mostly going to run CSX freight and husky stacks/intermodel, tank cars, and some box cars mostly for carying crab and fish.

Will put pics of the start of it later tonight. Track plan is looking nice, as well as my new MT flex track! Man this stuff is so much easier to work with rather then that marklin garbage yuck! Also I ran my chessie on what I built so far and even though there is some minor bumps from switch tracks to flex the chessie ran as smooth as I've ever seen one of my engines run! Thank you MT line can't wait for your DB slip switches and crossings, and curved turn outs.

    Questions?

I attached a marklin feeder track and notices that I shorted out when approaching a switch, once I switched the switch over I regained smooth power through frogs and track. Do I have to continue to switch my tracks over to obtain power through the whole lay out, or can this be resolved with placing the feeder track in the center of switches rather then bottom, or can this be resolved by adding another feeder, or do I have to just switch when I want to obtain power through my main lines?

In 1987 there is no PRR painted locos running around, as PC was formed in 1968. And PC was merged into Conrail in 1976.

By 1987 all the former units were all painted Conrail.

Sure you've been to his site, Dave Vollmer's N Scale Juniata Division

MTL switches do not route power like Marklin. You should have no problems.

I'd like to see your BNSF GP-9. I might have something to trade with you.

Are you interested in buying a Conrail GP-35 outright. I also collect CSX, Seaboard, Chessie, B&O / C&O, Conrail, & WM so I'm not really interested in trading for other roadnames.

If interested send me an email thesourceyouneed@hotmail.com

It may be worth mentioning that the Juniata Division never really existed... The line I model is based on the PRR Middle Division (later part of Conrail's Pittsburgh Division) which followed the Juniata River for almost its entire length. The name Juniata Division is used because in my small space I've not been able to model the Middle Division faithfully.
