In the 1980's, I was known for having the worlds largest private toy airplane collection, I was West Coast USA Editor for a toy airplane magazine called "PLANE NEWS". I had over 2600 die cast airplane toys and models of all sizes. When I saw these videos about the miniature mechanical airport it really brought back memories of some of my expensive and very detailed airliners in my collection. Yes, I think as Model Rail Roaders we have now been humbled by Model Aircraft and in a big way. Although, the average person could no way do this type of airport at their home, Model Rail Road is more attainable for the common person. Still very humbling. I believe the Germans are brilliant when it come to things like this. fatalxsunrider43
well model airports for sure. but you should see the pre-manufactured model aircraft available nowadays, they are jokes compared to the detail and precision of pre manufactured off the shelf trains.
