So I am thinking that I would like to hand lay some track. But I can not seem to find any place that has any ties. anyone have an idea when the suppliers will get some built and shipped? Has anyone had to make there own and if so what did you use? I want to try and install about 38' worth!

http://www.kapplerusa.com I buy all my ties from them for my hand laid turnouts. The scale 7" x 9" ties (8' 6") match atlas code 55 ties exact. If you are doing turnouts, grab some 16' one also. Mike

Les, They are pretty good with shipping, usually within a week, from order to at my door. But I tend to order stuff on sundays, so that gives them all week to ship. I'm glad you are trying some hand laid track Gotta post up some pics when you get some done! Mike
