Start of New Layout Benchwork

    Here is the start of my new double deck layout with staging. The benchwork is all made of birch plywood. I will post a link to my blog as more pictures are added. Thanks to CSXDixieLine Jamie for the great inspiration for the wall brackets.

    Yep, that looks plenty solid. Will the end result be U or L shaped? or some other variant thereof?? Looking forward to more pics as you progress on this.

    Thanks Bret. The layout is around the room shelve layout with peninsula. The room is 12 x 8 with a 5 x 4 extension, plus the helix in the furnace room. Nice running trains with you today. You better sell that KCS Southern Bell E on flee bay for big bucks.

    I think the one and only person on this planet who is willing to pay that much dough for one is no longer looking for one, so I'll just hang on to it for the time being.
