Let 'Em Eat Cake and Barbeque Restaurant in Flatonia, Texas. Right next to Tower Three. Texas Central RR interchange in the upper right.
Nice start to the new year. Great scene and modeling, Flash. WB SD45 leans into the curve at Blackwood cut. DJ.
Fire Train Flash, Is that the fire train of RI Straw's leaving your layout under the mountain in the center of your pic?????? Sure could fool me.:thumbs_up: Both scenes are a sight to behold... WELL DONE.
DJ, that is awesome! I had to jump out of the way or out of my skin...not sure which! I am revisiting an image I shot about a year ago, but this time with smoke effects. Pennsy Coal Train
Nice!! This winter seems like Firepalooza! Unlike my SD&AE fire train, I hope you don't find any sparks.:tb-biggrin:
Yeah, I noticed that too. However, I think it is only one red tank car parked against a mirror. The thing that has me giggling is the John Deere in the parking lot with all the cars at the restraunt. I guess you got to drive something to beat the lunch crowd.
I forgot about that. Yes, it could be that, but really it is a single red tank car (MKT?) against one of the few mirrors on my layout. Give the illusion of Russell saving my (cooking) bacon. His train is headed back to Sugar Land.
One more from me: my GP38-2 behind some new trees that help to hide the unballasted track :tb-biggrin: Mike
Mike, can you do that shot over again? And this time, don't photoshop out your shadow holding the camera.....kay?
Nothing new, but hopefully soon. I was looking through some older pics and these caught me as interesting. I am in the middle of freshening up the scenery in the bridge area so only old stuff is available.
Crandell I'm confused - do you mean DO photoshop out the shadow? because I didn't photoshop it out. Mike edit nearly 3 hrs later I think I worked it out :tb-embarrassed: Thanks Crandell
Some more from last weeks MiNi session. Next week the layout comes down, but not before we take more pictures and videos!
Mike, I was a bit worried you would not find my meaning clear...but I trusted both your good nature and your character to get it. Sorry if I caused you some discomfort for a bit...my intentions were only to pay you a well-deserved compliment.
No worries, Crandell. I'm getting a bit slow in my dotage :tb-smile: Lovely work John and Matt J I hope we see some more. Mike
