The bridge in th foreground have no grade. It is an horizontal curved bridge. There is an optical trap on the picture.

    Hello All,
I have on my extension a diamont crossing witch was not so smooth to run. The problem was that the atlas Straith 60° crossing was not the best way to give the right curve :

So i have made a complete revamping of the track of this area:

The hart of the project was to built a diamond crossing in double-curve with the correct 52° that i need :
Very hard to do in N scale 4 days of hard job 8 hours per day ...

Very nice layout. I do the same I run an era and if I get bored with it I just switch rolling stock and locos on my layout to another era. I also have that same CEFX loco and a CEFX coal hopper consist.

Very good! I enjoyed your many camera angles. And it is not often we see anyone capture video of action in the deep dark of night. That was quite interesting!

Wow, JF, such a magnificent layout. You have managed to do something very few people can: you've rendered D&RGW scenery in the correct colors. All the more impressive considering that you don't even live in this area. The foams and fibers we can buy here all seem to be California-yellow and the grasses and weeds are Midwest-green. What materials did you use to create your realistically colored grasses and weeds?

Many thank's for your replies ! ! :funny:

I use woodland scenics and noch turfs for the foams. Sometime i correct the color with an airbrush on trees to make some diferent color value in the canopy. For the weed i use mininature or silflor tuft :

For the Grass fiber i use GPP product witch was availabe only in france i think. But unfortunately the brand have been closed and it is now imposible to find this product. :crying:

I think the mininatur 2 mm fiber can replace the GPP product but you will probably need to mix late summer and sring colours to make the same.

I have not found the correct "Ski Train" side logo, so i put smaller one. It does not have great importance for me. [IMG]
