Here are 2 pics. of my Union Pacific water Auxillery car. As you can see it now has decals, ladders & cat walks. This is my first resin casted car build ever! I had some issues with the grey paint. The next cars should go quicker. I only have trucks & couplers to do & its done!!
Tell me what you think, input is apreciated so is advice.

This is a scratch build I started 2 months ago out of some styrene scraps (I never throw anything away) I then mad a 2 piece RTV mold and casted it with 1oz of resin. If all works out well on its test run (soon) I will offer it for sale $60.00 There are some flaws im not happy with on this one, as it is the first one I built. I need some new paints & im out of U.P decal stripes & numbers. I thought others would need this as well. I originally built it to go with my 4-6-6-4 U.P 3985 challenger. If I get enough replies I will offer this car in the Train store Forum. Im not ready yet though. Keep checking back I hope to have it ready for 1/1/11 And no, you cant get these any place else that I know of.

I think your model is looking good. Which auxiilary water tank are you modeling? I believe the UP has two like this; #809 and #814.

I think the Con-Cor trucks from their Veranda Turbine tender would be perfect for this if you can find a set. Let's hope they actually re-release that model.

I'm a UP fan here in northern Colorado as well. Please keep us posted on your progress.
