Hi all, It's been a while since i last posted, so here is what i've been up to. I'm still waiting for parts to arive in the post for most of the units ive built, thats why some are half finnished!! From the same site that i built the command station i've started a hand controller - 16x2 digit LCD display and 4x4 keypad. I've built the pan sound crossing - has a bell sound , flashing lights and control for a servo for boom gates. i have this working, but havn't programed it with Dcc yet. there is a short clip on youtube if you would like to see it working. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTchFPLfkvs
Here is a 10amp Booster 10 amp Booster form the "Merg" website. just witing for two i.c's to arive and this is finnished. Just have to work out a power supply for it

hi, Thanks for that. i got the MERG Booster powerd up the other night, it worked to some extent, at a low speed it was ok but when i stated to boost the speed up it would trip out. now, i'm wondering if i've got enough "grunt" in the transformer im using. i first tryed it hooked up to a pc power suppy 12v 5a it triped out on that, then i tryed my power suppy i used for my ho layout rated at 2a at the secondary coils, running 13v and it triped out on that too. :tb-confused: I'll email the designer and see what he has to say..
