I'm unsure if this is my place to announce this News; but since no one has done so, I will. The Oklahoma N-Rail Organization announces The 16th Annual Southern Plains N Scale Convention will take place at the Oklahoma City State Fairgrounds on Dec 2-5, 2010. There will be N-Trak and T-Trak layouts presented. The T-Trak Layout, at present, will have in excess of 130 T-Trak modules on display. Just checking in to see how many people visited this Post. If anyone wishes to make comment... feel free to do so. This show promises to be a good one. In past years the T-Trak showing was the event of the Year. So put the word out we want to visit with all of you N-Scale Enthusiasts
I meant to post this event myself. I will be there with some stuff for the white elephant tables. r_i_straw will be there with the Sugar Land modules. Jim Hinds (Richmond Controls) and George Hollwedel, too. (I'm not sure of the name of George's company.) That is all I know for sure. I am arriving Wednesday night and staying at the convention hotel, the Clarion. It is near both the airport and the convention center where the train show will be.
Oh, how I would love to go. I have been wanting to go to a stricly N show for a while now. I bet it is a blast. Perhaps someday I'll catch one. fatalxsunrider43
I went to the show only last year and it was one the best I went to. I am planning to go agian this year if my work schedule permits.
Stayin at the Clarion too. I'll be staying at the Clarion Hotel too. We will arrive on Friday afternoon...in time to begin setting up the T-Trak Layout. Look me up and say "Howdy".
I'm a sideline spectator this year, as my USAF reserve weekend has me tied up. But, I may visit the Clarion on Thursday evening for the swap-o-rama.
I just got checked in at the hotel here in OK City. Looking foreward to a fun weekend and train show.
I'm here, too. Wireless in the rooms. Just have to be able to use a computer. Blue jean factory tomorrow.
The one with the little girls is great. I think I can see me in my white hat in the second shot there of post #16. Here are a few from my files. Tom driving his own train. I was set up next to Guthrie, Oklahoma. I now have an "official" sponsor for my Richmond, Texas modules.<grin> Jim Hinds wants to put up a skyscraper model of "One Richmond Controls Plaza" on the modules and put blinking lights all over it. Train exiting the tunnel at Trains in Oklahoma.
Hey Flash.... Photo number 5 was the T-Trak Modules of the North Texas T-Trak Modular Railroad Club. My Modules are just to the left of the guy standing at the corner. I will be posting my photos here and the Trainboard T-Trak Group.
