Intermountain FT headlight

got a new B & O set and the headlight went out. worked at first, but not now. they are new. how hrd to fix? thanks

 

Check Spookshows site on removing the shell. They have the headlight mounted separate from the board. Maybe one of the wires has lost contact?

thanks for the spookshow link. i can now remove the A unit shell using toothpicks like he described. wires appear to be ok, must be the bulb. i guess i will send it to intermountain......

 

Hey - I would like to change out the "too blue" headlights in my FTs - any recommendations for a more correct yellow-white light (LED) replacement???

 

Tim, I'm with you, the blues are unnatural; I replaced mine with "sunny whites" from Richmond Controls and love them. Give Jim at RC a try.
