Is there a trick to removing joiners from Marklin track without damaging the track or maybe even joiners? Simply pulling the joiner will damage the plastic and the rail usually becomes loose.

    Thanks

ig, I bent down the the first tie, because thats what holds the railjoiner in place. Then I use a needle plier and pull it out. I dont try to save the rail joiner, because I am going to replace it with one from MTL.

    John,

Is there a reason you would replace Marklin with MTL joiners?

I remember from my childhood days HO scale joiners were much easier to work with.

IG, Marklin joiners are flimsy, and easily bend out of shape. MTL joiners are stronger.
