I HAVE A 12FT MODULE 3 TRACK CROSSING WITH SIGNALLOGIC CONTROL, I HAVE THE EXTENDERS FOR THE TRACK WITH PHOTO CELL OCCUPANCY RECENTLY MY SIGNALS HAVE BEEN GOING OFF PREMATURLEY AND IM ON THE THIRD FLOOR OF CONDO WHICH RECIEVES ALOT OF SUNLIGHT THROUGH THE BALCONEY DOOR, EVEN SHADES DO NOT HELP, I TRIED MOVING THE MODULE TO THE CENTER OF ROOM WITH NO LUCK AND THE KICKER IS ON CLOUDY DAYS THERE IS NOT A PROBLEM. I WAS WONDERING IF INFRA RED DECTECTORS WILL SOLVE THE PROBLEM IVE EVEN TRIED TO HIDE THE PHOTO CELL DETECTORS WITH SCENERY OR A STRUCTURE TO NO AVAIL
If your problem is being caused by sunlight entering the room using infra-red detectors will not fix the problem. Years ago I worked on a machine that used infra-red detectors. It worked okay at night but wouldn't run during the day. The customer had to install window blinds and keep them shut whenever the sun was on that side of the building.
THANK MARK THATS WHAT I THOUGHT MAYBE A 4X12 PIECE OF PLYWOOD TO ACT AS A BARRIER TO KEEP OUT THE SUN THANKS
Not about what you're asking, but stop posting in all caps, all caps in forums and such is taken as shouting.
Here's a web page that has some examples of installing infrared detectors in different situations: http://www.azatrax.com/detector-installation.html Hope that helps, peasy
Azatrax IR detectors I highly recommend Azatrax and their products; I just installed their infrared detectors last night and they worked perfectly! John
