Has anyone received this product and what is your opinion. I am very interested in getting a couple of these for my DPM. The link is: www.tobiaslocomotiveworks.com Jim
I have the one for the roadkill cafe. Chuck at Feather River put me onto them. Its not just an interior, it also includes a roof with some details and a bunch of vents. Nice touch. The windows in the front of the kit are big, so having a cheat like this makes it really easy to do the inside of the building! There are stairs, tables, and a counter with a pass through window from the kitchen, complete with a little cash register on the counter. All in all, nice little kit for a nice touch.
I bought a few of these and have started to paint the interiors and "install them". They are pretty neat, and work real well. The stairwell is a nice touch, and the roofs are different for different buildings so they individualize the DPM buildings. You can use the origional flat DPM roof for a second floor and with individual lights inside the building you can create a structure that will really stand out. I highly recommend they, and hope that Tobias will come out with several more. I'll post some picures when I finish.
Very cool. Have to get a bunch. Thanks for the tip. (Now, if we could just get DPM to do some new kits. And some new modular walls.) Mike
AAAAUUURRRGGGHHH! Just like you guys complaining that a model is announced right after you've kitbashed your own version, we've been building interiors on our own. These kits do look nice, and reasonably priced. Pete (and Jeanne)
