Do you mean the last run? The newest run isn't scheduled to be out until January 2011.

However, I have seen a couple from the last run and they are very nice runners.

I hope they are much better than the long delayed first run. I have one and it never did right by me.

The run that they are now saying will be out in January 2011 was, if I recall correctly, originally scheduled for January of February 2010.

I am in no hurry, but I am wondering if it is too late to switch from a roadname to unlettered.

I've been waiting patiently for about a year now!
I have a 1st and 2nd run shay. The first one is as good as any engine I could compare it to! The second one ran about a few feet , the headlight went out and the gears are skipping horribly!! I haven't taken it apart yet to see what is wrong.
    Any one have any suggestions?

Well the motor is in the frame properly. The frame itself is bent causing the worm gear to bind, I was able to straiten it out by bending it a few times while looking at it through a magnifying glass. It run's smooth now!

The reason the front headlight doesn't work is because the wire is broke at the led. I think there might be enough wire sticking out to resolder, we'll see.

Hopefully someone has the answer for this one. I let the coupler fall apart after removing them, I don't know were the little brass colored spring goes? I have the exploded diagram in front of me but it's not listed on there. Can anyone help please?
