Thanks for the compliments:tb-biggrin: Photoshop deserves some credit as well... This was the last of about 15 exposures, focus, depth and exposure were all acceptable, but not completely what I was intending to capture. The main lighting was to the left of the photo, but I had a little bleed from some lights behind me that brought out the "shady" sides of the locomotive and scenery(downside to long exposures). Some careful tone curve tweaking in Lightroom was performed to darken the shadows and dark "colors"(shot in monochrome) and bring out the lighter "colors" and highlights, thus creating the high contrast I was "shooting" for. The exhaust and sand/dust kicked up by the blowers was added in Photoshop with the brush tool set to about 10% opacity. The photo was then re-sized and sharpened.
