I've been trying to go to their website, NCE: The Power of DCC, for several days but I keep getting redirected to some russian site full of malware. I found a phone number in one of the Google summaries (link was still to the russian site) but it was no longer in service. I have about decided to purchase a NCE system but I really wanted to look at all of their products on their site.

Does anyone know what's going on?

    Thanks.

    Hi Joe, welcome to TrainBoard.

Yes, NCE is still very much in business. The link you posted is correct but it appears you have a problem with your PC if you are redirected to a different site, likely malware has installed.

    Contact details;

Contacting them via phone is best.

Is there anything the membership can answer for you?

Hmmm. I guess the lesson here is that even Linux isn't immune. It seems to be only a problem while using Google Chrome. Now that I look a little further I find that Firefox is fine and I get straight to their website. I guess I need to do a little cleaning up!

    Sorry if I bothered anyone!

It sure sounds like your PC has Malware. Don't type in any personal information until you get the problem solved. No ideas what else is happening butt don't take chances.\I had this happen once because I went to a site that I should not have gone to.
One other possibility, clear all personal data such as cookies, history in IE. Click on, Tools, Internet Options,
    Look for, Browsing History.
Click the Delete key which will delete, History, Cookies, Saved Passwords, and Web form information.
One site I went to kept re-directing me to some other site until I cleared all this data.

Let us know what cleared up this issue.

I use a Linux OS, Mint 7. One time I went to a site that started to re-direct me and I found out it was my browsing History that kept up to twelve items in a different place even though I had Firefox Preferences delete all data. I found out that Firefox is configured to keep a cetain amount of History. It was by default keeping 12 items. I configured FF to keep zero History items.

I just tried to get to NCE using Google and Google redirected me to a russian site. When I typed in the address directly, I was able to get there.

How exactly did you use Google? What words did you enter when searching for NCE in Google?

Google has been acting that way recently. The first choice on just about every search I do winds up being a redirect to some other search tool. I generally use the "cached" link that's right after the url. Then I reload the page.

I get blocked by my antivirus if I use some of the google results. I searched NCE, and NCE DCC. I am getting the same problems, yet my favorites link works every time.

Below are the results from a Google search. I use Linux Mint 7 with Firefox 3.0.17. The first link is a re-direct that I see once in a while from a few other searches.

    NCE DCC - Google Search

Below is another Google search for "Google reported attack site" if you need more info on this issue.

google reported attack site - Google Search

I have learned over the years to do searches for something I do not understand and usually find the answer.

All my saved links never show anything like this.

As for Google be attacked etc, it seems to be happening for other search sites too. I do not have NCE bookmarked because I do not use or have any NCE decoders or equipment.

Sorry if there was a problem (???) with my post to this thread. It was removed without any notification to me, and if I made a mistake, I'd appreciate knowing what it was?

    Nothing wrong

that I can see now. The issue seems to have been taken care of. I just tried your link in the original message and no problem.
I did contact NCE directly just after I saw your message.

I just tried a search for NCE DCC in Google just like you did and not more re-direct.

I hope you are reading all the messages with this issue, including some links I included.
