has anyone had a custom paintjob done by doug @ Emperor of the North before? hows his quality and workmanship? any photo examples?
im thinking about getting something painted by him to save me a little time (and maybe headache). he has a the best price around from what i see. and seeing that he is advertised here, should be reputable no?

He does good work and his price is right! When you order, he usually is backlogged around 30 days.
I did notice that he uses water based paint on his models. If you would not prefer that, just let him know.

Doug has done a couple of units for me much to my satisfaction; and as stated above his prices are fair.

I've seen the work done by Emperor of the North, at the 2009 NSC Convention in Portland last summer. It looked very professional and very good to me. He hasn't done any custom painting for me, although I was very tempted to purchase at least one of his engines.

Yes the Gbush paint job was a Custom Piece done by Doug. Yes the details are fantastic in my opinion. Sorry about the small photo. I picked that one up from him in ALB, NM a couple of years ago. The SD I mailed off to him last year as an undec model. He does fine work
