    Hi Everyone,

I have some late 1950's Kadee boxcars, and I was wondering if it would be OK / Reasonable to pull them with a SP Cab Forward.

I'm loosely modeling an HO scale layout with no specific RR in mind, but I would like to remain somewhat plausible with the equipment being used in combination.

I also have a few early 1960's train cars [1960, 1961 and 1962]. Would those be OK to pull with the SP Cab Forward?

    Many Thanks!!!
    Matt

The last run of a Cab-Forward was in 1957.

Sure, any of your 50's cars would work just fine. I dont think the 60's cars would look too out of place if they have roof walks. Course in model railroading, we get to fudge a bit anyhows. :D

Distinctly 1960s cars: 80'+ flats, cushion underframe boxcars, cylindrical covered hoppers. These are the ones I don't expect to see with steam.

    Thanks to all of you!

I will be certain to avoid car designs that were specific to the 1960's.
