Nice catches! It's still sad to see T-2s go, though. One correction; UP 2902 is former UP 8684, originally SP 8311.

Okay, I guess I'll be asking for it, but I don't recognize a single SD45R. All are SD40T-2's.

 

As far as I can tell those are all 40T-2s. Not a 45 or 45T-2 in them.

 

The original poster stated that the other types would be posted later. He probably has a job, you know?

I expect that these are all 16 cylinders. Did UP repaint or rebuild any 20 cylinder Espee engines? Didn't Espee begin divesting themselves of 20 cylinder engines?

IIRC, SD45, SD40T-2, and SD45T-2 all started life as 20 cylinder engines.

 

No 40T-2s are standard SD40-2 16-645E3 (I think it's E3. For sure it's 16.
