Full Throttle has launched their new website today. The site was created by David Smith. I am sure you will be very impressed by the vast variety of products Full Throttle has released over the years. Check out the site at:

Great to see a once source site. I never knew just how much they put out. I really like my clyndrical hoppers. They were very well done.

Congratulations Uncle Will ! Looks real good. Uncle Ron (a-k-a "Paul, a-k-a "Uncle Guido"), appreciates your manufacturer's assistance. Now, where are all the people looking for those Peabody's, B&O's etc that we have on the shelves. Come and get them!

Which version of the PEABODY are you referring to? 2-bay or 3-bay?

If this is the proprietor of LBT writing the above, consider this your wakeup call. Get an on-line order engine installed on your website.

I recently filled out the "contact us" sheet on the LBT website, to check on the availability of the Penzee potmetal shells for marklin locs after reading about them discussed on this forum....never heard a word back from LBT.

In the past ten days I've placed two orders with some train store totalling over $800: on-line, real-time, new products and new sales prices posted daily.

I took advantage of a clearance sale at Modelbahn Ott Sunday after seeing they put up a new sales page this month: again, on-line, prices and inventory updated daily. Ordered on-line, in stock and shipped promptly.

I like doing business like that.

With LBT I feel like there is an Iron-Curtain between me and the goodies. Never see what they got, have to have a secret password to talk to the gatekeeper via the "contact us". No fun to shop that way. The credit card looks elsewhere to drop dollars. Maybe if I'm on a trip to Pa sometime I'll stop by. Meanwhile, LBT mgt might want to surf over to their Pa and Md competitors. Maybe they are on to something...they sure latch on to my dollars!

LBT is a one man operation, and he chooses to talk to his customers. Ron has been around for many years and chooses to do things face to face so to speak. Any of his customers can call him during his hours and ask him anything.

You can personally call Ron to find out what is being released, from Full Throttle and others. He talks weekly with many of them.

His operation is not very big, but he has been working with Z for many years.

If you do not like that type of operation, fine. Personally I like to call and see what's new, or go to his shop where there always z scalers talking the hobby.

Yes I filled in the form on the web site also and when I got no reply I made a phone call sealed the deal with a credit card and it was done and my K4 arrived a few days later. I have had good service since. When the kit arrived with two right hand tender sides one phone call and a replacement left hand side was on its way. When I asked about parts I was able to get several of the trailing truck castings for other projects.

Not everyone is equipped to do things the ultra modern way or inclined so you either adapt to their preferred ways or go elsewhere except in this case no K4 elsewhere.

Dear Sumgai, LBT has been serving Z scale customers for over 30 years. Personal attention in the STORE and over the PHONE. They must be doing something right! I don't think they're in competion with anyone. Just a lot of Z Scale fun!
