Is there a standard for awning height and loading dock distance from track for lineside industries in N scale feet? I want to make sure that my rolling stock and locos clear my lineside industry awnings and don't scrape the sides of my loading docks. Thanks in advance. John Bartolotto
There are Standards... ...and then there are Standards. Every RR has a plan book of standards for such things. In modeling terms I think if it interferes with the cars- obviously it's not good and has to be moved. Spacing everything as a prototype RR would- you'd never have a model RR because the compression you need to accept in modeling would never work in the real world. I think it's a matter of common sense. If it's gonna be in the way- move it. Just my two cents. Mark
