    Venture into Lansdale.

Just a few miles up the road off of Rte 309. There's Lin's Junction and Penn Valley Hobbies. Both really super model railroad oriented stores. Penn Valley has tons more by way of cars, planes, ships and kits- plastic and otherwise. Each have respectable N inventory. If you have a Saturday afternoon you can always ride up Rte 202 to Doylestown and visit Herb's Hobby shop. They have N also but caters to HO/O. They were mostly model RR at one time but have gone over to the dark side- crafts, scrapbooking, etc. But, they have alot.

I always feel very fortunate to be near 3 great hobby shops all within a half hour of each other. Which of course means there's a lot of train guys around here. Which of course means striking up a conversation means you'll be getting home later than you thought. The hobby shops in Lansdale a right near the Lansdale train station, which is right on top of the CSX yard (former READING). The tracks going north terminate in Doylestown- a few blocks from Herb's. Continue north on 202 and in about 30 minutes you'll be pulling into New Hope, PA- home of the New Hope & Ivyland RR.

    Oh well, have fun.
