Well I see more of a difference using simular decoders on different models on my system MRC AdvanceSquare. Best overall peformance Kato SD70 Mac & SD90/43 Digitrax Decoder. The only problem is the units move immediately when the throttle is notched (aleit good for a slow stop) BLI RSD w/sound & Digitrax (no real top end speed) Athearn SD50 & 40 CW, & Digitrax nice wind up some lunge as speed increases. Bachman AB Sharks & Digitrax decoder in consist (poor slow speed peformance). Atlas MP15-1 & Bachman decoder (my first), lighting issues nice performance, tough install tricky CV adjustment. Atlas MP15-1 & TCS great slow speed, tricky top end speed CV, very easy install.
