Way back, I suppose in the 80's Model Railroader Magazine had a annual photo contest of model trains. One year the winning photo was of an HO scale Santa Fe intermodal train coming thru Holiday, KS after about a 3 ft snowfall. I recall a mailbox protruding from the snow at about the level of the snow. The engines, I think were SD40-2s. One of the very best model photo's I'd ever seen. Cut it out to preserve it. Now I can't find it anywhere. If someone could just let me know the issue that would help a lot. I can probably find another issue from someone, but just can't pinpoint the issue. Can anyone help me here? (This is before computer editing or digital photos were allowed)
I've got the issue somewhere in my collection and will look for it. I believe that it is either a December or January issue, but can't say for sure until I find it.
