I don't know where else to ask, but has the Atlas N forum gone completely wonky. When I go there, a new opening page comes up I've never seen before and doesn't recognize my name, password, etc. When I tried to invent one for JoeBlow, it wouldn't accept a new one.

    Anyone know what gives?

Well, I just got back from there and I had no problems. Everything worked fine, it did seem to load faster. Maybe they were making changes while you were visiting. [IMG]

Atlas's web site always did have problems. Although I never had THAT problem, it seems like every other time I go to that web site, either it won't work at all or the N scale forum doesn't work. I know it's not my computer goofing up cause I always enter here and other web sites afterwards with no problem.

It appears they were updating (or whatever) that site. It has a different look. The page that appeared for me to enter worked today and I got in, but you could tell there had been problems by the posts.

Thought I hadn't seen many posts from you on the Atlas Forum! I think it has a limitation as to how many can access it at once. I will be on there and all of a sudden it will stop doing anything, like too many are trying to access it at once. Other times, it just won't come up. Also, I believe it now validates e-mail addresses. You were on there when we had BAD "troll" problems. Like so many things in life, that forum doesn't work as well as it might because of the actions of a few perverse people.

Gregg, if you look at the Atlas forum now, it has a different look. If you look at the N scale posts (in last day or two) you'll see there was a problem. But I am guessing they were changing the site and that created problems.

Which one of us are you talking to Gregg? I think we all may have been around for the "troll days" of Atlas. I don't post there much anymore because I spend most of my E-railroad time here. I have been to other sites, but this one is still, and will remain, THE BEST! [IMG]

The Atlas forum has asked for e-mail addresses for quite some time; if you never deleted the original cookie, it did not re-ask you.

I have to confess, I very rarely go to the Atlas forum.... you can find all you need here (and more!) without having to leave TrainBoard!

I have not answered your original question.... yes, it appears that they (Atlas) have been updating their site, which may account for some of the problems you encountered.
