How I spent my Saturday afternoon

I spent several very nice hours out in the garage, with the door up (it was 75 here today, don't hate me!:tb-embarrassed planting trees:

Haha! I was driving down the 5 to the Great Train Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center and I was tempted to turn on the AC!

 

That's it, I'm moving south!

 

You say that NOW, but wait until August! Then you'll be saying "I'm moving north!"

I work in a car repair shop. We have a roof to keep the rain off, but that's about it. When it's 115 you can hardly drink water fast enough to keep up with the sweating.
For that matter, I was working in shirtsleeves today and still managed to break a sweat.

 

But it's a dry heat - just head to the shade and you'll be fine. Humid heat? Can't escape it!

 

Those rock outcroppings look really good! Are they that light in reality, or is it the camera flash?

 

Those pine trees are excellent, almost a perfect match for those on the backdrop. Looks great! 75 degrees, huh? That's only 80 degrees warmer than it was here today. Even the dog won't go outside...

All humor about my being chilly aside, That is a nice looking layout. :mbiggrin:

 

Man I love your work. Love the climate too. I use to workk iit out so I'd do all my deliveries by Tuesday & relax out at the Ontario TSA until Friday. Then do my P/U's & head back to NJ on Friday night. The good days.

I was looking at that section of your layout with the tunnel and want to ask what material did you use to support the plaster?
