I got my son a train set to help get him rolling so to speak in his Dad's favorite hobby, and the dog went pee on it. Probably because it was under the Christmas Tree. Some days I hate that dog.:mmad:
Hey, my first dog, a 120-lb German shepherd, ate the shell of a loco. It was a Lima FP-45, so it wasn't a great loss, as it never ran. It just buzzed on the track and irritated him, so he ripped off the shell and crunched it in two big bites. I should have given him a treat, one of those miserable early 0-6-0 tankers, but I was afraid it would harm his intestines. My two cats treated trains as snakes. They were Maine coon cats, and rather large at about 20 pounds. They could slink around the mountains without leaving a trace of fur on my trees and then pounce! In N-scale terms, they were 45,000 ton battleships (do the math!) and lord, they wreaked havoc.
