Well, the Ferromex SD40-2 I have been working on for a few weeks is out of the paint shop. A little bit of a tape off challenge but I think it came out great. Take a look at the attached pics. I want to thank Jim at Highball Graphics for printing up the decals and Jeff King (fellow custom painter - Milwaukee Road Train Shop - Home) for helping me out with the decal kinks. That's great! I think it turned out really nice. I'll need some custom decals for my fleet. You've mentioned a couple of great resources. I may just have to give them some business.
That loco came out GREAT. The numberboard really came out nice. That gives me fits anytime I attempt it. Thanks for sharing
Hi everyone there, I'm new here, i was looking for pictures of custom paints of this rail company, where i live i see this locos every time, you've done a great job! very accurate i just start my second custom project of this scheme on an athearn sd40-2, (the first was a test on a life like gp38) i finished the paint work yesterday, I'm going for the decals soon, i hope get a good result aso you!
