Hey guys...what's new? Been gone so long I don't remember where I come from! I have a minute to write because I currently am off work as I have the swine flu...er something. Anyway, I am MISSING modeling and discussing things with you. We have been so incredibly busy (and still are) at work that I have been gone since June...while trying to RUN the business from long distance. If I am well enough I go out again on Monday. I am also trying to find time to start my book for the University of Utah Press (they want me to change my dissertation into a book) and was given one year for a manuscript...that started in June and I have not had time to touch it. One good thing, I have finally been able to get all of my train stuff moved back home (it was in storage at our office since the house fire last year) and I hope to at least take some kits or something with me on the road... Anyhow, just stopping by for a moment and I will make every effort to stay connected as things slow down (PRAY for SNOW!!) JC

Hi John, Good to hear from you again. Thought you fell off the face of the earth. Out on a big dig? I had hoped to hook up with you in October when I was at the C&T engineer school but never heard back from you. Oh well - I'm enrolled in the June 2010 school so perhaps we can meet then. Thanks guys! Dan...not a dig...we RARELY get to that anymore. We have been working on the largest project I have ever undertaken...a great big archaeological survey in an area that has the highest archaeological site density in the Four Corners Region. It has been and still is a high pressure job with the client yelling to go faster and the government agencies telling us to slow down. On top of that we picked up a lot of work in Colorado this year and since I could never find anyone qualified to run that part of our operation I had to go do it...and still am working that angle. That will all stop with the snow and impending knee surgery... Anyhow, I also had hoped to hook up with you and maybe we still can. Talk to you all when I can! J
