Good grief, wouldya quit posting proto photos, and passing them off as models already?!?;):p:D
All kidding aside, that's some mighty fine weathering there. As bad as they may have looked at the end of the Pacific Extension, you have nailed the look.
    Bravo!

Well, nostalgia is really grabbing me now. Maybe I should drag out a few slides to view. As close to a time machine as I can get, these models sure are brushing away a few cobwebs off old memories!

Thanks guys! Yeah, modeling takes me down memory lane on a regular basis. I spend hours upon hours combing through old issues of TMR and the internet trying to find just the right prototype photo. A real challenge for anything on the NMD to be sure.

    Not sure where I'm going next in HO. I have 2 GP30s, 1 GP38-2, 1 SD45, 5 FP45s (3 are just shells, but I plan to model all 5 of them), 1 GP35, and 3 SD7s (one is a shell only), 2 SD40-2s and a Dash 8-40c...

What ever my next HO project, a walk down the Milwaukee Road is always a welcomed trip.

Yikes! Bob- You need to have a few more projects lined up. For when we get an eight day week, or a twenty five hour day... :D

Oh, forgot to mention N scale projects: 1-SD45 which I painted today. 1-GP38-2 and have an Atlas GP7 on the way too. Need to get a BWC or two in N and I'll have an ok start in that scale. ;)

The caboose and SD45 look great. You should post the n-scale ones up on that side. I would like to see those too.

Z, N, and HO. I'm waiting to hear that you've bought a 1:1 scale Milw GP9, and are restoring it!

Your wish is my command. :)

Sure is a learning curve working with N Scale. Not so much in the painting, but rather in the weathering.

Ken, I'd go for a HR BWC any day of the week to restore! Wouldn't that be a great addition to any Milwaukee buff's collection!?! :D

Fireball - haha... nah, I just have way to much energy and no layout space. So, I work on power builds and an occasional freight car.
