Gerd, One word: your work is amazing. BTW, how many hours driving from Melbourne to your place? will your door open for visit? I am going there every two years, hope we meet some day...may be soon. Hien.
Hi Gerd, 3 weeks vacation, family there at Ascot Vale. Before I go will let you know if you need some thing from Robert or state let me know. Hien.
Guys and girls, time to revamp that thread: this awesome locomotive combination is up for sale, look here: http://www.trainboard.com/trainstore/z-scale/p4294-csx-sd40-2-with-yard-slug.html So all CSX fans and enthusiasts of small series, watch out and check your bank account!
Well Gerd, I know without a doubt who wants this combo very much, but I think we should all chip in and pool our money and buy it out from under the nose of John Mui, Mr. CSX himself. ) Just kidding John. You better sell the dog, cancel your daughter's college education, mortgage the house and pawn your wife's jewelry. Do whatever it takes, but you must have that loco, right? I mean, who else could give as much loving attention to it besides yourself? Yup, that is a must have for you. Seriously, I hope you end up with it.
OUTSTANDING JOHN!!! I can not think of a better place for that pair than to see them switching in the yards of Florida. But with that said, they need more graffiti. Send photos soon!!! Bill Mock
Joe, my trains are not going to be like the prospector in Toy Story. I am converting the SD40 and slug to dcc. Bill, are you volunteering to add the graffiti.
You bet I'd do the custom graffiti for you! That way they could do some switching out in Truckee. It's got a small siding to shunt cars around. :tb-biggrin: Bill Mock
