    I have purchased a Kaslo kit HO EMD SD40-2F ( CP RED BARN). It needs to be mated with Kato Sd40-2 Power train. Can I use the powertrain from a Kato sd40-2 or must I use the powertrain from a kato sd40-2 MID. Are they both the same? thank you grandpa.:mwacko:

    sorry, never mind, didn't read the MID the first time... ;)

    the SD40-2F kit was designed when there was only the older SD40-2 from Kato available...
